These photos are taken by photographer Kevin Sheldon who
contacted regarding Oil Painting ‘Castlefield with White Sky’ painting and said
that he had taken these similar images on a previous separate visit and he also
noticed the ‘Lowryesque’ colours of the red brick against white skies. Kevin
said my painting was like a stitch of 3 or 4 of his photographs. I think these
photos are some beautiful images that capture the drama of the magnificent old
railway bridges. I would like to return to Castlefield and spend some more time
with them.
