Karen taking us through the long straight section of Altrincham and Sale, Greater Manchester, towards the city centre.We had heard a few horror stories of the Manchester canals but nothing negative to report of here, had a pleasant ride in, fascinated by our first big city growing up out of rural Cheshire. I am pleased with this sketch, you can capture real spontaneity in quick sketching, and I am enjoying the process of choosing the background as we go along!
